Juarez City.- A total of nine businesses were closed last week by the North Zone Governor’s office, one of them is from the town of Samalayuca, said the head of that agency, Alejandro Jimenez Vargas.

The official said that they realized that for a long time there was permissibility in the towns, where there were no checks on the sale and consumption of alcohol, so he warned that the inspections each week also include foreign businesses.

Six of the closures were for business violations and three for not having the necessary permits for the sale and supply of alcohol.

They also seized 2,109 beers and 3 bottles of liquor that were transferred to Samalayuca without permission to carry them, he said.
