Step.- The El Paso Police (EPPD) is investigating a homicide that occurred in the 6900 block of Sixta Drive, in the Valle Alto area of the city.
The events occurred on Monday afternoon and so far the corporation has not provided any further information on the case being investigated by the Crimes Against Persons (CAP) unit.
Residents of the area are surprised and expressed shock.
A resident of the block told ABC-7 that the neighborhood is usually quiet and everyone keeps to themselves. He pointed out that a relative lived in the house where the Police have been investigating.
She added that about a month ago, the owner asked her cousin to move so her son could move. Since then, he says, he noticed that ambulances were going to that area.
“We’ve heard riots, but you know everyone is keeping to themselves… trying to keep their own family safe… and then you just look, but you know you feel bad about something like that. Something like that is happening on the street.” said Elizabeth Isias.
