The Superclásico that River Plate and Boca Juniors will animate this afternoon, will be controlled by 1,400 members of the City Police, who will mount an operation before and after the game scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the “Más Monumental” stadium.

It will have the presence of 150 troops more than those arranged for the previous Superclásico played in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Núñez, which was last year and Boca won 1-0 with a goal from Colombian striker Sebastián Villa. The reason for the increase in troops is linked to the increase in the capacity of the Monumental stadium, which after the latest reforms went from 65,000 to 84,000 people.

In addition, 120 cadets from the City Police career will carry out the controls of the Safe Tribune Program, in whose database there are thousands of people with the right of admission, whether due to acts of violence in soccer or due to judicial impediment. Staff from the Government Control Agency (AGC), Traffic Agents and Prevention Agents will also work.

As the City Football Safety Committee has been organizing for a long time, the stadium gates will open four hours before, at 1:30 p.m., which is why the authorities recommend going well in advance to avoid crowds.

The operation will have three rings, where there will be documentation and ticket controls so that only those with the corresponding ticket have access to the stadium. The deployment contemplates the presence of police in specific areas of the accesses to the stadium and the buses with the campuses will be escorted, both in their entrances and exits.

For their part, AGC personnel will carry out controls on parking, illegal sales and installation of grills without authorization.
