Monterrey, NL.- Ten alleged members of an organized crime cell that would be linked to homicides and various crimes were arrested with long weapons, tactical equipment and drugs, in Salinas Victoria.

According to information from Fuerza Civil, the state uniformed officers captured them when they were allegedly traveling in a vehicle carrying long weapons, in the Los Pilares neighborhood.

The criminal gang confessed that they had arrived in Nuevo León a few weeks ago to commit executions, police said.

The detainees were identified as Ricardo, 32, who has an arrest warrant for homicide; Angel, 35, Laura, 22; and Oscar, 19.

Carlos, 28 years old; John, 25; Florence, 35; Christian, 28; Guadalupe, 21, and Ingrid, 19.

The detainees were seized with 8 long weapons, two pistols, tactical vests and drug wrappers.

The corporation indicated that through intelligence work in conjunction with the AEI, FGR, National Guard and the Army, said cell phone could be identified.

On a tour of the aforementioned colony, the state police officers detected the vehicle with the alleged perpetrators on board and with long weapons.

After stopping them, the criminals ignored the officers and accelerated the march and incited a chase that ended meters ahead.

The detainees were made available to the Public Ministry to determine if they are related to the wave of violence that has been unleashed in recent days in the municipalities of El Carmen, Salinas Victoria and Zuazua.
