Edomex.- Edwin was murdered to steal his motorcycle, in Colonia San Isidro, in the Municipality of Valle de Chalco.
The 20-year-old was attacked with bullets on Monday night, while he was with his girlfriend.
According to reports from the authorities, the couple was approached by two individuals on another motorcycle at the corner of Avenida Sebastián Lerdo de Tejada and División del Norte.
One of them threatened the owner of the KTM 200 with a firearm so that he would descend and hand over the keys.
However, the victim refused and confronted the assailant, who pulled the trigger twice.
Edwin fell to the ground and began to bleed to death, while the criminals fled on both motorcycles.
The injured man’s girlfriend and other neighbors called emergency services, but paramedics were unable to keep him alive.
“The corpse of a man with gunshot wounds is found, who is lying on the asphalt tape in a dorsal decubitus position, covered with a white sheet,” the authorities’ report states.
Municipal police officers were also mobilized, who toured the surrounding streets in search of the attackers, but no arrest of any person involved was reported.
A couple of hours later, personnel from the Homicide Prosecutor’s Office appeared to start the investigations of the case and carry out the expert reports.
Before the corpse was moved to the amphitheater, Edwin’s father arrived to identify him.
