USA.- Three children remain in critical condition after a large fire that spread to their home in Brooklyn.
The flames started yesterday morning at an apartment located in the Van Dyke housing complex in the Brownsville neighborhood.
According to the fire department, the children ages 4, 5 and 8 were home alone when the incident occurred.
Two of them were found unconscious in the room, and one more behind a door.
Emergency workers performed CPR on the children before they were taken to the hospital.
Authorities are investigating the causes of the fire and the circumstances of why the children were home alone.
The children’s father was arrested.
