Prospects Yanquiel Fernández, Yosver Zulueta and Edgar Quero were chosen to participate in the MLB All-Star Game which will take place on July 8 at T-Mobile Park in Seattle.

The 23rd edition of this 7-inning game where the greatest promises in baseball meet will be played as usual in the National League vs. American League.

Fernández, the only Cuban to make the National League team, was named the Colorado Rockies’ No. 3 prospect and is currently at the Double-A level.

Last May, he was voted Northwest League Player of the Month (Class A Strong).

For the second time in these games, the Blue Jays pitcher from Villa Clara Yosver Zulueta and the Angels catcher from Cienfuegos Edgar Quero will be representing the American team.

Zulueta, Toronto’s No. 3 prospect, has played at the Triple A level this year with the Buffalo Bisons and It is expected that he will debut in the Big Top very soon.
