A Florida beach it ranks first as the best in the United States, according to the latest selection by an expert who has recorded the quality of these US coastal areas for more than three decades.
The beach at St. George Island State Park in Florida is the best in the US, according to the 2023 list of scientist Stephen Leatherman, known as “Dr. Beach” and author of these annual rankings for more than 30 years old, says a report this weekend from CBS News.

“Dr. Beach” has been making these selections since 1991 and uses 50 types of criteria to evaluate hundreds of public beaches in the United States, such as the size of the beaches, the softness of the sand, the water temperature, the color, the life wild and other factors.
The Florida beach paradise is followed by Duke Kahanamoku Beach on the Hawaiian island of Oahu, at the western end of the famous Waikiki Beach.
