Dominique Tapie disturbed by the fiction dedicated to her late husband

Dominique Tapie is undoubtedly one of the first to have viewed Tapie for being the widow of the ex-businessman and politician. On this subject, the latter gave an interview to our colleagues at Gala in which she says she is upset by the series devoted to her late husband: I haven’t slept for three nights. It’s very disturbing. Laurent Lafitte knew how to adopt Bernard’s attitudes and intonations.” Bernard Tapie’s widow, however, salutes the performance of the actors in the biopic: “All the actors play very well. No amalgamation, it remains a fiction. They started from real facts and embroidered around them. All of my husband’s faults are described in excess.” In this interview, Dominique Tapie also confides that Tristan Séguéla had already approached her and her partner ten years ago. “I appreciated that he then came to me to explain his approach and that things calmed down,” she declares.

The son of Dominique Tapie not very complimentary on Tapie

Dominique Tapie is not the only member of the Tapie siblings to have mixed feelings about the series dedicated to Bernard. His son Laurent was not very complimentary of the fiction produced by Tristan Séguéla. This is what he said during the RMC morning show on September 12: “I regret this choice of mixing pure fiction with reality a little. It makes the story move away a lot from reality. The role of my mother, for example. In life, my mother , it wasn’t that at all… In the series, they make her a businesswoman. It’s almost like she’s not the brain.” he lamented on the microphone of Apolline de Malherbe.
