While they await the decree by which the Presidency will call extraordinary sessions and will enter the Chamber of Deputies the request for impeachment against the ministers of the Supreme Court of Justice, Horace Rosati; Carlos Fernando Rosenkrantz, Juan Carlos Maqueda and Ricardo Lorenzettithe legislators of Together for Change end of refine parliamentary strategy with which they will seek to deactivate that request.
Although there were some rumors that they were going to empty the Impeachment Commission with the intention that its absence would show the disagreement of the opposition, yesterday the presidents of the blocks that make up JxC met in the Lower House and decided to attend once it was cited.
“We will go, we will be present in the commission. It was defined last night in a meeting we had, as well as what will be the first steps of the parliamentary strategy in the commission”, explained a source from Together for Change.
The first thing the opposition legislators will do is try to drop the impeachment petition. Once the bill is entered and turned over to the commission, its members have to vote on the admissibility of treatment. Voting is by simple majority, that is, half plus one. The ruling party has 16 members, Together for Change 14 and the rest is Alejandro “mole” Rodriguez of the Federal Interblock.
Until now, the 14 members of JxC and Topo Rodríguez vote against, so it would not be enough for them to declare the impeachment inadmissible. That is why this part of the parliamentary strategy bet on the massista deputies.
Opposition legislators understand that between Ramiro Gutiérrez, Vanesa Massetani and Micaela Morán (all deputies from the Frente de Todos, but who are from the Frente Renovador), could get a negative vote. From the Frente de Todos they assure that the three will accompany the political trial.
“The first part will be discuss admission or not. If that happens, we will move forward in the debate and if they -for the Frente de Todos- they want to get into the mud, we are going to go to the mud. Yes They summon witnesses, we are going to summon ours”, added the source of Together for Change consulted by infobae and that he is one of the 14 members who will participate in the Commission.

At this point it will be necessary to know, first, if the Frente de Todos achieves a quorum. That changes the equation because if it reaches 129 deputies, it would need only 86 votes to advance. If that happens, it is most likely that Juntos por el Cambio will go down to the venue to change the number of votes needed.
