Manu Koné could bring Borussia Mönchengladbach a real rain of money in the summer. According to reports, the financially troubled Bundesliga club wants to sell the 21-year-old midfielder, who came to the Lower Rhine just a year and a half ago from FC Toulouse, at the end of the season. Borussia should even target a record sale. The previous record is held by Granit Xhaka, who joined Arsenal in 2016 for 45 million euros.
Last summer Newcastle United had offered 35 million euros for Koné, but the foals remained steadfast. Now apparently some international heavyweights are involved in poker around the 21-year-old. In addition to Chelsea FC and West Ham United, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool FC, Paris St. Germain and FC Bayern are also following the youngster’s situation closely.
