Arsenal have made a breakthrough in negotiations for winger Leandro Trossard (28). As reported by The Athletic, the Premier League leaders have agreed a transfer with league rivals Brighton & Hove Albion.

Arsenal paid the equivalent of just over 30 million euros to the Seagulls. Trossard is currently under contract with Brighton until 2024. The Belgian national player came from KRC Genk in the summer of 2019 for 15 million euros.

In 121 competitive games for Brighton, the variable offensive man scored 39 points (25 goals, 14 assists). Arsenal are reacting to the blow to the neck in poker involving Mykhaylo Mudryk (22) by signing Trossard.
