Igls (VRV). The athletes from the Sparkasse Bludenz Toboggan Club brought home sensational results from the Austrian Junior Championships in artificial track tobogganing in Innsbruck-Igls.

The youth class C female was clearly dominated by the girls from the Alpine town. Leonie Neyer was simply unbeatable that day and sent off her teammate Annalena Kottke with almost 4 tenths of a second ahead of rank 2. With rank 3 by Nica Luisa Bleiner another Städtle tobogganist landed on the podium. In youth class B male bot Mateusz Labenz great performance and finished 3rd. Matheo Burtscher completed the team success of the local tobogganists with 7th place.

Consistent youth work

The support team was also enthusiastic about the performance of their protégés Patrik Korbela, Manfred Heinzelmaier and Bernhard Steuwho attribute these successes, among other things, to the consistent work with young talent and the optimal training opportunities on the new artificial ice toboggan run in Bludenz-Hinterplärsch.
