MEXICO CITY (proceso.com.mx).– The National Meteorological Service (SMN) indicated that the low pressure zone with potential for cyclonic development will be located south of Baja California Sur, its wide circulation will cause heavy to very heavy rains accompanied by electric shocks in Baja California Sur and the west of the country, in addition to gusts of wind of 50 to 70 km/h and waves of 2 to 4 meters in height on the coasts of Baja California Sur, Nayarit, Jalisco and Colima.

The system will maintain its movement towards the west-northwest, gradually moving away from the national coasts.

In addition, tropical wave 11 will slowly travel through the Mexican southeast and in interaction with a low pressure area with a probability of cyclonic development located to the south of the coasts of Oaxaca and Chiapas, and a low pressure channel extended over the Yucatan Peninsula, will cause rains. from strong to punctual intense accompanied by electrical discharges in said peninsula, as well as in the east, south and southeast of Mexico.
