The crime drama True Detective can’t really be accused of being over-exploited in the same way that so much else is, but when a new season comes it’s usually worth the wait.
The anthology series follows various investigators as they tackle usually very dark cases, and in the past we’ve seen Matthew McConaugehy, Woody Harrelson, Mahershala Ali, Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn, Rachel McAdams and a host of other big stars portray detectives. Now a new duo of actors joins the fray.
When True Detective: Night Country is released later this year, we can look forward to following Jodie Foster and Kali Reis in the lead roles as they investigate the disappearance of eight men who run an Arctic research station.
