It looks like Stephanie Meyer’s lovesick vampires will be making a grand comeback at Amazon Studios. The company has let it inform that they are working on a brand new TV series based on Edward and his friends that will be produced by Lionsgate Television. This new Twilight saga is still in its very early stages and no cast or crew names have been announced yet.
Is Twilight still a thing? Yes, it remains to be seen and despite the fact that it is now almost ten years since the last film premiered, both Amazon and Lionsgate obviously believe in the strength of the brand. After all, the films brought in more than SEK 340 billion in total, and in truth, these are no small numbers.
