Twitter blocks the consultation of 'tweets' to unregistered users

MADRID, (Portaltic/EP) – Twitter began to block access to the social network for those users who consult public ‘tweets’ or profiles without having previously logged into an account.

People without a Twitter account or not logged into one could view some of the publicly shared posts, as well as user profile information, before the login screen appeared.

However, if you now try to consult one of these public ‘tweets’, the pop-up screen is displayed that urges you to log in or create an account on the social network, blocking limited access until now allowed.

This fact, which they have advanced in The Verge, happens both in the web version and in the mobile version of Twitter. The login screen appears whether you open the Twitter website directly or try to open a ‘tweet’ via a link.
