O Twitter will have a new menu for playing media soon. The information comes from the social network’s own senior product designer, Andrea Conwaywho even shared a screenshot of what the commands displayed during the videos on the platform will look like.

With this, users will have tools such as subtitles, playback speed, sharing, downloading and reporting available in this new menu. In general, they are items that are also available on services like Youtube and help in some ways.

This new feature should also make bot accounts that download the video useless when mentioned in a publication. The range of options gets much wider with the addition of items, but it shouldn’t stop there, since the idea is to bring more functionality to the interface.

According to the executive, the next innovations will also include the addition of a Picture-in-Picture (PiP), in addition to giving the user the chance to choose the resolution of the video he is watching. But, it still doesn’t look like we’ll see 8K videos available on the social network.
