Two Cuban brothers were detained by the police for the murder of another man during a fight that occurred this Saturday night in the city of Santa Clara.
As reported in Facebook the official profile “Fuerza del Pueblo”, linked to the MININT, Lisvany Antonio Guerra Joba y Antonio Guerra Joba, 20 and 21 years old, respectively, were arrested for the murder of Roger Padilla-Borrego after a fight broke out in the Vidal park in Santa Clara.
In the fight, according to the text, three people were injured who traveled by motorcycle to the Arnaldo Milián Castro hospital, where Padilla Borrego died from the injuries received.
The disturbance would have been caused by the detained brotherswho were accused of murder, however, there are no details about the event nor is it known with what weapon the victim would have been injured.
“He tells us that several people present began to call the police who managed to stop the antisocial elements that caused this disturbance and caused the loss of a human life,” said the official profile.
So far, no further information has been provided on the status of the other two attacked in the altercation, nor has the age of the victim been revealed.
This event occurred a few days after learning of another crime perpetrated in Santa Clara where Fran García Rojas lost his life, he was 17 years old.
The young man was murdered in the Condado neighborhoodattacked with machetes and finished off with a stab wound.
Also this Saturday, Cuban rapper Dayán Torres -known as The Masai- was killed in zone 25 of Alamar, in the Havana municipality of Habana del Este, according to reports from friends and relatives on social networks.
