TULARE, California – Tulare authorities are investigating a collision between two cars that left two people dead.
At 10:56 pm, Tulare Police officers arrived in the area of H Street and Inyo Avenue to investigate a crash.
A white Ford Focus traveling south on H Street was reportedly struck by a Chevy Traverse vehicle coming from the east on Inyo Avenue.
Due to the impact, the Ford that had two occupants inside, overturned, ending up in the parking lot of the Sno-White hamburger joint.
The driver of the vehicle and the passenger, aged 22 and 23 respectively, were declared deceased at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the Chevy Traverse suffered minor injuries and was taken to the nearest hospital.
Tulare police say the cause of the crash remains under investigation and it is unknown at this time if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
