Chihuahua.- Two people lost their lives during the Easter holidays, including a child under the age of 15 who died after falling from a pickup truck, according to the report issued by the State Civil Protection Coordinator (CEPC), related to the incidents that have been registered during this period.

The state agency reported that there have been road accidents, road exits and falls of people in recreational centers, where surveillance will be maintained.

The first fatal event was recorded at kilometer 324 of the Juárez-Samalayuca highway, where a minor was traveling in the back of a pickup truck and fell, which caused his death. the various corporations.

The second case took place in the municipality of Namiquipa, where a person who was driving a Razer-type vehicle lost his life, after the rollover he suffered, apparently caused by the lack of expertise and excessive speed at which he was driving.

The head of the agency, Luis Corral Torresdey, reported that inspections are being carried out in recreational and tourist centers, to verify that they have the necessary security measures, such as fire extinguishers, emergency exits and evacuation routes, paramedics and lifeguards.

Regarding the recreational centers, three people fell, two of them were hospitalized for better medical care: one at the Morelos Hospital of the IMSS in the city of Chihuahua and one more at the IMSS 35 in Samalayuca, in addition, grassland fires were reported in Juárez and Namiquipa.

The CEPC reported that it maintains its tours and presence in tourist areas and recreational centers in the state, in collaboration with the municipal authorities.
