Two people died yesterday in the town of El Soberbio after a vehicle misled and fell about eight meters into a ravine next to coastal route 2. In addition, due to the fact there are four other occupants in the vehicle who remained hospitalized last night with injuries of different consideration.
As El Territorio was able to reconstruct based on police sources and residents of the town, the fatalities were identified as Anderson Luiz De Oliveira (28) -Brazilian living in the country- and Nataly Budke (22), a native of the town of Colonia Aurora .

The other occupants are another Brazilian, Marcos de Souza Do Nacimento (28), Gimena Wintoniuk (22), Luciana Steinhorst (24) and Cintia Romero (18). Last night a medical report was expected from those involved, but what transpired is that at least one of the young women was at risk of death.
The event, according to the spokespersons, occurred around 8:30 a.m. and everything suggests that the occupants were going to an after-party at a viewpoint that is very close to the place of the accident, at kilometer 3 of the aforementioned provincial artery. That is, they had been partying on Saturday night and early the day before.
Those involved were traveling in a white Toyota Corolla owned by De Oliveira, who was the driver of the vehicle. The Brazilian is domiciled in Colonia Aurora and has been living in El Soberbio for many years, where he is dedicated to the many businesses that the border offers.
The other Brazilian would be his brother.

For reasons that are the subject of investigation, the vehicle was heading in the direction of the Moconá Falls until the young man lost control and crossed the lane to the opposite shoulder, falling violently into the void. That sector of the road is a very steep slope, those who were on the scene said.
The two deceased were thrown from the Toyota, so it is presumed that they died on the spot due to the strong impact. When firefighters and members of different units of Regional Unit VIII arrived at the scene, they found the car completely destroyed and quickly transferred the survivors to the local hospital.
The first information about the event indicated that the driver of the car had not been found, so it was presumed that he had fled the scene in the face of the tragedy. However, hours later it was confirmed that he had also died.
It is that it is an area of a very dense mountain, so apparently in the first instance they could not find the body. It also often happens that in accidents with many occupants or with several victims it is difficult to establish who is driving because the priority is to rescue the survivors and arrange for their immediate transfer.
The Scientific Police of the UR VIII did the rigorous tasks to try to establish the mechanics of the accident. The San Vicente Investigating Court is involved in the case, in charge of Judge Gerardo Casco, who is waiting – among other issues – for the recovery of the occupants.

Hours before the tragic incident where two people died, two young people who were riding a motorcycle were seriously injured when they were hit by a car, whose driver fled.
As this medium was able to establish, strikingly the event occurred one kilometer from the mistake, at kilometer two of coastal route 2.
The young people, identified as Sandro Juan Olivera, a 24-year-old driver, and Lucas David Dos Santos (22) were driving a Corven 110 in the direction of El Soberbio – Saltos del Moconá.
According to his account, at the height of Paraje La Barra they were hit from behind by a car that they did not identify and whose driver did not stay to see how they were. Given the impact, they lost their way and ended up on the shoulder.
According to Misiones Police sources, both suffered “consideration injuries” and were assisted by Volunteer Firefighters and members of the El Soberbio Police Station before being transferred to the local hospital.
An update on his health was expected last night.
At the scene, the rigorous tests were carried out and the members of the VIII Regional Unit continued to search for the other vehicle involved.
