MagentaSport is showing the 47th IIHF U-20 Junior Ice Hockey World Championship 2023 live and exclusively from December 26, 2022 to January 6. All German games and all games from the quarter-finals onwards will be broadcast free of charge on all MagentaSport platforms. it starts the day after tomorrow, i.e. from December 27th, 2022. As already mentioned, MagentaTV customers can also watch the games on the MS Sport channel. Christoph Stadtler and Christoph Fetzer act as commentators. National player Kai Hospelt acts as an expert. The U20 World Cup will be held in Canada for the third time in a row. The Germans play in Halifax and Moncton. The German team will start in Group A on December 27th against Sweden. The group opponents are also world champions and organizers Canada, the Czech Republic and Austria. Place 4 must be achieved at least to make it into the quarterfinals.
