HELSINKI (AP) — Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was in the Finnish capital Helsinki on Wednesday for a one-day Nordic summit.

Zelenskyy was expected to meet four Nordic prime ministers, who were meeting at the residence of Finnish President Sauli Niinistö. The leaders would talk about their support for Ukraine.

The Nordic countries – Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland – have mostly supported Ukraine after the Russian invasion on February 24, 2022.

The meeting at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki was attended by Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, Icelandic Katrín Jakobsdóttir and Niinistö.

The meeting caused the traffic cut in that central area of ​​Helsinki for cars, bicycles and pedestrians.
