Mum Stine Fagerholt Stang (30) is cooking dinner while little Ulrik (2) sneaks his hand into what he thinks is the sweets drawer in the kitchen.

With his mother’s back turned, the two-year-old takes what he thinks is a chocolate, but it doesn’t take long before he is disappointed with his “stolen”.

It was The Easterner who first mentioned the matter.

See video of what happened at the top of the case.

– Hilarious

Stine notices that Ulrik has probably brought a bouillon cube with him, and informs his father, Vegard Sandberg (35), who is in the living room.

– Then I pull out the camera, because I understand what could be about to happen: That he unwraps the bouillon cube and tastes it, says Sandberg to TV 2.

And the father knows his son well. Ulrik proudly shows off the “chocolate” before tasting it.

Then Ulrik immediately understands that it is not a chocolate he has found. He hasn’t been in the candy drawer – it was the soup drawer he opened.

Ulrik coughs, tastes a little more, and clearly shows that he is disappointed before storming out of the living room.

– The reaction that comes when he tastes the bouillon cube ends up being hysterically funny. You never know how children react to things, says Sandberg and explains:

– He could have just said “eh” and put it down, but the video sort of captures the whole spectrum. From the joy of finding what he thought was chocolate, and unwrapping it – to the reaction to the taste and, not least, disappointment when he realized it wasn’t chocolate.

Went viral on TikTok

Sandberg chose to share the funny moment he captured on video on TikTok.

– The response has been absolutely enormous, and something we did not expect at all, says the 35-year-old.

The video has now received over 220,000 views on TikTok.

The father says that Ulrik is very fond of candy, and that he has been in the candy drawer several times before.

Although the two-year-old did not get the taste experience he was hoping for when he found the broth, his father made up for it afterwards.

– Ulrik got a real chocolate after the broth trial as a plaster on the wound, he says.
