Specifically, the two companies included in the ‘blacklist’ are the lead-acid battery manufacturing company Camel Group, based in Xiangyang city, Hubei province, and Chenguang Biotech Group, based in Handan, Hebei province. , which produces plant extracts and food additives, among others.

The announcement made by Washington on Tuesday brings the number of sanctioned entities to 24. The law to prohibit the importation of goods produced in Xinjiang into the United States was enacted in 2021 by the Biden administration.
