The leaks on the imminent arrival of the new Valorant map materialize with the announcement of Lotus, the ninth setting of the Riot Games hero shooter which will be the backdrop to the many new features of Episode 6.
Set in Terra Omega’s Western Ghats of India, Lotus is a map that draws inspiration from traditional Indian architecture, with stepwells and Dravidian-style monumental structures.
The game designer Joe Lansford of Riot describes Lotus as a three point map (similarly to what Riot proposed with Haven): users are called to experiment with new environmental mechanics such as revolving doors, destructible walls and a strong emphasis on exploration.
The lost city of Lotus will not be the only novelty of Episode 6 Act 1 of Valorant: the next in-game phase of the multiplayer shooter with a cooperative vocation will bring an unpublished Battle Pass as a dowry and, with it, a new line of ARAXYS models. The Battle Pass will make its own festive atmospheres that reign throughout the world with the celebrations for the new, Valentine’s Day and the Lunar New Year.
By completing the objectives of the Episode 6 Battle Pass it will be possible to unlock numerous objects such as the 9 LIVES model for the Classic, with which you can form an entire team of Agents with a cat look. In the progression of the objectives of the new Pass we also find the weapon accessory Augurio Piegato and the Dardo Gallant spray. L’Episode 6 Act 1 of Valorant will start on January 10th.
