Venezuelan announcer Marco Antonio Lacavalerie dies in Miami

MIAMI.- The lVenezuelan producer Marco Antonio Lacavalerie Mazzeo, popularly known as Musiuito, died at the age of 71 in Miami. The information was confirmed by his brother Marco V. Lacavalerie, on the social network X.

Today my older brother Marco Antonio Lacavalerie passed away. May God receive him in his holy glory and may he receive perpetual light. Rest in Peace, wrote the sports announcer.

Although Lacavalerie did not reveal the cause of death, photographer Andreina Mujica stated that the announcer suffered a heart attack fulminant. The event occurred this June 17.

It is unknown if Musiuito suffered from any illness that caused the heart attack.

Career in the media

Musiuito was born in 1953 and from an early age he was exposed to the media, since his father Marco Antonio Lacavalerie was also an announcer, reported The National.

His first steps in radio were on the station Successos 1090 AM in 1975, and on Radio Capital. However, nine years later he ascended to television, debuting with his own program called Like Musiuito on the Venezolana de Televisión channel (today the official media of the Nicols Maduro regime).

Later, in 1984 Lacavalerie animated the program Sper Videos on Venevisión, and four years later he went to the Televen channel, where he hosted VH-10, space in which music videos by the artists of the moment were presented.

After hearing the news, various media personalities have lamented his loss.
