Things are not going well for “veterinarian Dr. Mertens”. Job gone, dream house in danger – what else can happen now? But then a new man enters her life who could turn everything upside down.

vet dr. Mertens: A new love for Susanne?
Mike Redmann (Matthias Komm) is actually a customer of Susanne. One of his alpacas had an infection on his knee, but the two only started talking when Mike didn’t pay his bill and Susanne pointed it out to him on his farm. Already at the reunion were innocent smile exchanged. But Susanne is really suspicious when she vaccinates his alpacas: “We’ll see you again in a year for the next vaccination,” she says carefree. “If there is no other reason“, Mike replies and quickly adds: “My animals are unpredictable.”
A look at the preview of the season shows that not only his animals are unpredictable, but also their feelings. The two are actually going to meet on a date. “There is a crackle in the air“, says the broadcaster.
So is Susanne finally on the up? And can she still keep and renovate her weekend home, or does she have to give up this dream and the promise she made to her late husband?
