The iconic theme Things of lovemade popular by Ana Gabriel and Vikki Car in the 90s, now has a salsa version sung by Víctor Manuelle and Tito Nieves. The video for the song is already available on digital platforms.

“Tito is a brother and a great exponent. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to record with him one of the most emblematic ballad songs, popularized by Ana Gabriel and Vikky Carr. For me, the song was spectacular. We are giving the public a different version at the same time that we were able to honor these great exponents,” said Víctor Manuelle about this collaboration.

The version of the famous song has musical arrangement by Junito Dávila.

Composed by Roberto Livi and Rudy Pérez, Things of love It tells the story of a conversation between two friends in which one expresses his concern about his partner’s indifference and his fear of losing her. This is the first time that the song is interpreted from a male perspective, which gives the lyrics an unexpected and refreshing twist.

“Victor is a great brother who has given me the music And, after so many years, we finally have the chance to record a song together. But as we say in the street, this song is a pain and it stops being a women’s anthem, so that men can also identify with it. There is no gender when you suffer for love,” said Tito Nieves.

The video clip, filmed in Puerto Rico under the direction of Giova González, takes us back to the original version to preserve the concept of the song’s lyrics.

Record production Retromantic This is the twenty-first album by Víctor Manuelle. The album has a limited edition on vinyl that can be purchased in music stores and on Amazon.

This is an album of impeccable quality, with an immersive sound that transports listeners to the time when romance and passion intertwined through salsa.
