This Monday afternoon, moments of tension were experienced in Penal Unit 45, where a raging fire broke out inside the prison grounds. As they expressed, the flames reached the transformers that ended up consuming themselves.
For this reason, in the penal unit, located at 520 and 179, firefighters from the Melchor Romero Barracks and personnel from the Fourteenth Police Station of that town worked to put out the flames and control the situation.
Likewise, from the Municipality they assured that they were members of political and social organizations who caused the fire of the transformers and that they previously promoted in street courts the claim of lands to inhabit them.
In addition, he stressed that the Municipality went to Justice to criminally denounce the fact and requested that the eviction be ordered to guarantee order in the vicinity. In this way, after the flames of the transformers, the neighborhood’s power lines were affected and, therefore, the service as well. Edelap operators are working on the site to restore service as the hours go by.
