Chihuahua, Chih.- With the participation of around 250 cyclists, the Delicias Cycling Tour began, after the starting signal in which the mayor of Ciudad Delicias, Jesús Valenciano, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Tourism participated.
This is the third edition of this event in which international athletes participate.
The cyclists left from the Rapha Bike Shop, bound for the highway to Delicias from where they will depart by category, and in Delicias they will meet 250 more for the different competitions.
This edition corresponds to the activities for the 90th anniversary of the city of Delicias as highlighted by the Valencian mayor.
He pointed out that thanks to this and in the last days of the Easter holidays they maintain a hotel occupancy of one hundred percent in the city.
In this cycling route, the participation of cyclists from Japan, Colombia, the United States, as well as several states of the Mexican Republic such as Guadalajara, Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí, among others, transcended.
After the arrival of the cyclists in Delicias, they will participate in other routes to return to the capital tomorrow, Sunday.
Likewise, the participants are escorted by personnel from the National Guard, as well as from the state Highway Police.
