Virginia woman won $100,000 in Powerball after following her cousin's advice

What a fortune he ran with a woman who lives in Virginia, since he never imagined that following the advice of one of his relatives to the letter would make him earn a lot of money.

It turns out that UnaTina Renee Johnson was a few days ago doing some shopping with one of her cousins in a 7-Eleven store when, suddenly, he felt the urge to buy a lottery ticket and thus try his luck.

It was in the checkout line when Una’s cousin noticed that the jackpot for the Powerball game had skyrocketed, so she urged her to purchase a special Power Play ticket for the draw on July 19.

The woman decided to listen to what her cousin told her and invested one more dollar to buy that special ticket that helped the prize she won grow.

Within a few days, Johnson discovered that he had originally won $1,000 on the Powerball; However, this number grew due to the advice given to him by his cousin, then taking the not inconsiderable amount of $100,000.

My cousin made me do it. If it hadn’t been for her, I wouldn’t have paid a dollar more for the Power Play”, the lucky woman told the local press.

“She told me to do it, so now I always have to listen to her,” said the woman when claiming her prize.

In the same way, she shared that part of the money will be donated to her local church and she will also share a part with her cousin, since she was a key piece in her winning.
