Everything old is new, again, and everything that once made large sums of money will now be dug up and redone. Whether it’s TV shows, games, movies or music, everything that was once sacred and branded as a masterpiece must be redone. So also the Lord of the Rings trilogy, which will now be remade, according to Warner.
“On a Thursday earnings call, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav announced that newly-installed studio leaders Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy have brokered a deal to make “multiple” films based on the beloved JRR Tolkien books. The projects will be developed through WB label New Line Cinema.”
