Juarez City.- The director of the Center for Technological, Industrial and Services Baccalaureate (CBTIS) 128, José González Cereceres lamented the death of one of his students in a shooting attack that occurred during the morning shift departure time, this Tuesday.

In this event, another student was also injured, of whom he said, the last report he has is that he is stable.

“We are shocked, very sad, we did not imagine that something like this could happen,” he said.

He said that after the fact, he held a meeting with directors of the State Public Security Secretariat (SSPE) and tomorrow they will hold another at 10:00 in the morning at the campus facilities behind closed doors.

He also said that at 2:00 in the afternoon the general director of DGETI will arrive at the institution to meet with all the directors of the CBTIS.

The principal said that the 16-year-old student was in his fourth semester.

He assured that prior to this violent act they had not received threats or noticed any suspicious activity on the campus or in its vicinity.

He reiterated that classes will be suspended tomorrow Wednesday due to the dismay over this fact and while the necessary investigations are carried out.
