A viewer from Revere, Massachusetts who was sorely disappointed with a new washing machine that had problems from day of delivery and returning it wasn’t so easy.

Ángela Ramírez recently invested almost $2,700 in a new washing machine that she bought at Home Depot, “the old one broke and I tried to fix it, but the part that broke came from China and was lost. They ordered another one and well, she never arrived and she needed another washing machine, ”she said.

She says that on delivery day “they turn it on to test that everything is fine. It turns out that the water was all coming out of the bottom of the machine. and well, the guys who installed it tell me well, my work has reached this far, I can’t do anything else”.

The next day Ángela returned to the store where she bought it and they told her that they were going to send a technician to check, but the technician never came.

That’s how 3 months passed until she decided to call Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra Responde, our team contacted Home Depot, and the bill was sent along with the images of the water leak, and they responded, apologized to Ángela and told her that in 72 hours they would send you a new machine.

For its part, Home Depot said in a statement:
“We are happy that we were able to resolve this for Ms. Martinez. We apologize for the inconvenience and are grateful for the opportunity to make this right.”

I remember that Home Depot’s refund rule is that if you have a problem with the appliance, you must report it within 48 hours of delivery.
