They find alleged human remains among the parts of the Titan submersible

Suspected human remains, as well as parts of the submersible, were pulled from the sea Wednesday by the Coast Guard near the site where the Titanic submersible imploded not far from where the Titanic remains submerged in the Atlantic Ocean.

Authorities said they will study the suspected human remains that were separated from the wreckage of the OceanGate submersible.

The Titan submersible lost contact with its mother ship on June 18 after leaving the coast of Newfoundland in Canada.

Days later, and already without oxygen in its reserves, the implosion of the submersible carrying five passengers was confirmed.

The implosion killed Ocean Gate CEO and pilot Stockton Rush; two members of a prominent Pakistani family, Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman.

OceanGate Expeditions, the company that owns and operates the Titan, is based in the United States, but the sub was registered in the Bahamas.

OceanGate is headquartered in Everett, Washington, but closed when the Titan was found.

Meanwhile, the Titan’s mother ship, the Polar Prince, was from Canada, and the dead were from England, Pakistan, France and the US.
