Kristel Chevreau filed a complaint, but so did the group of individuals. The Chartres prosecutor’s office confirmed that two investigations had been opened, one for acts of rodeo, another for acts of reciprocal violence.

Kristel Chevreau is mayor of Ressuintes, in Eure-et-Loir. She claims that a gang of people came to do a wild rodeo near her home on Easter Monday.

“My son asked them if they were looking for someone, they said no and then they all came to the gate,” she told BFMTV.

The tone would have quickly risen: his son, aged 17, would have taken a ball gun and shot in the air. According to the elected, the individuals would then have entered the courtyard, would have run after her boy and “started to beat him”. Kristel Chevreau and her husband then get involved in the altercation.

Two open investigations

After this altercation, Kristel Chevreau receives three days of ITT, her 17-year-old son 6 days.

Jean-Jacques Pegard, a neighbor of the mayor of Les Ressuintes, says these people are part of a known band in the village. She “considers that insofar as she pays taxes she can do everything”, such as throwing cigarette butts on the road or letting her full garbage cans “puke”.

Kristel Chevreau filed a complaint, but so did the group of individuals. “They are the ones who came to get us. We just defended ourselves,” she says. The Chartres prosecutor’s office confirmed that two investigations had been opened, one for acts of rodeo, another for acts of reciprocal violence.
