In different parts of the country, torrential rains in orange alert are noted for the number of incidents it causes in cities. This time, a ferocious storm of hail the size of tennis balls ended in tragedy: a 70-year-old man died of cardiac arrest. The episode occurred in the town of Villa Mercedes, San Luis.
After the natural phenomenon, the destruction of homes and multiple vehicles could be recorded. Fire personnel assisted several people with injuries, there were power outages and the area remains under an orange weather alert.
