It was Ariadna Montiel Reyes, head of the Welfare Secretariat, who announced that the beneficiaries of the Pension for Older Adults will have to change their card during May so they can continue to collect support.
This call is addressed to those who collect support through private banks such as: Banorte, Banco Azteca, HSBC, Santander, Scotiabank and Afirme, except the State of Mexico and Coahuila due to the electoral process.

If for some reason you cannot go to a module to process the card, the good news is that you have the option of scheduling a home visit. The steps you must follow are:
- Your assistant must present your documents in the corresponding module: valid official identification, legible birth certificate, recently printed curp, proof of address not older than six months and contact telephone number.
- Fill out the home visit application.
Staff from the Ministry of Well-being will visit you at your home and deliver the card to your home, so you will not have to go to a module to request the card and the support will arrive in a timely manner.
You must take into account that the change of cards will be from May 3 to 31, while that happens, you will continue to receive the amount of your welfare pension on your current card, but it is recommended to do the procedure as soon as possible.
