And of course I had to celebrate the release of this album as it should, so much so that premiered the video for “Chain Reactionary”, a song in which none other than Beck and even Michel Gondry participate.
According to what Adanowsky himself recounted, this collaboration with Beck arose thanks to the friendship he has with Sean Lennon (yes, the son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono), who gave him a hand to reach our favorite blonde and be able to work with him.
“A few years ago I became friends with Sean Lennon, and one day, out of nowhere, it occurred to me to ask him if he could contact Beck to ask him to sing with me. Sean told me that he did and helped us stay in touch. So I sent him the song and he loved it, so he added his voice”.

However, Adanowksy was not satisfied with having Beck in this role, as it occurred to him that Michel Gondry could create the video for “Chain Reactionary”.. It is no secret to anyone that the director and the American musician have a great relationship, since they worked together on Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and in the video clips for “Deadweight” and “Cellphone’s Dead”. So there was a chance that he would accept.
“As I have delusions of grandeur, it was not enough for me and I wrote to the film director Michel Gondry to whom I proposed to make the video for the song. After insisting for six years for other projects, he agreed to work with me. It became a magical thing, flowing so naturally that I can only think it was the work of miraculous human irrationality.”
