On February 10, 2020, Juan Pedro Guarino and Alejo Milanesi left the Dolores prison after three weeks of confinement, after being arrested along with the other eight accused today for the crime of Fernando Báez Sosa. They had been suspected because they had injuries that could be compatible with blows.
Finally, the prosecutor Verónica Zamboni had decided not to charge them for the factwith a request for dismissal: there was no evidence against them to accuse them of the beating or of preventing Fernando’s friends from defending him while he was kicked to death in the skull.
The crime they did not participate in changed their lives. Guarino and Milanesi took shelter for three years. “They cannot go to load gasoline without being looked askance at”assures a source close to them.
Today, Juan Guarino made its reappearance in the courts of Dolores in the trial of his eight friends with whom he traveled from Zárate to Villa Gesell that summer to spend their vacations. He appeared as a witness, summoned by the defense. “There was no specific prior talk between him, Milanesi and the defense. His hands were swabbed, a DNA sample was taken deposited on an FTA card.
