Netflix surprisingly canceled a series right at the beginning of the year, but there will also be many new films and series coming to the streaming platform in January 2023. Although “new” might be the wrong word – the best films are already legendary thrillers: something like Leon the pro, sicario and Tenet. But with The Memorable Case of Mr. Poe is a promising Netflix film starring Christian Bale as an investigator who has the support of a young Edgar Allen Poe.

There are also new seasons of popular series such as Kung Fu Panda, Vikings: Valhalla and Ginny & Georgia. On top of that there is a sequel to the cult series The Wild Seventies – called The wild nineties! While the cast consists of new youngsters hanging out in the Formans’ basement, pretty much all the favorites from the original series are returning.
