France 3 broadcasts this Monday, January 9 the film Whoever loves me follow me ! (2019) by director José Alcala with Daniel Auteuil, Catherine Frot and Bernard Le Coq. This comedy invites us to follow thehe adventures of two retirees, Gilbert (Daniel Auteuil) and Simone (Catherine Frot), who live in the south of France in the Hérault. Questioned by our colleagues fromAllocinatedCatherine Frot qualified Whoever loves me follow me ! of “feel good movie” releasing “a real humanism, but without being nice, which is a small tour de force”, while his partner Daniel Auteuil described the film as “a romantic comedy about people who don’t give in”.

For the filming of the film, José Alcala had the pleasure of meeting Catherine Frot after Radiance in 2011. The latter worked on her character for a year. “Catherine is a cerebral, a builder, admits the director to Allociné. She likes to accumulate the things in her and let them go when shooting. And the least we can say is that they form a perfect duo with Daniel Auteuil, without forgetting Bernard Le Coq of course!
