Millions of Americans learned in 2020 through independent investigations that several thousand noncitizens illegally registered and voted in federal and state elections.

In North Carolina in 2016, an audit of elections found that 41 legal immigrants who had not yet naturalized cast ballots, out of a total of 4.8 million ballots cast. The votes did not make a difference in any of the state’s elections.
But where these irregularities occur most is in key states governed by Democrats, which of course the left-wing press does not name, as was the case in Arizona, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, California, Illinois, New York and Nevada, among others.
In a document supporting the bill, Johnson listed dozens of examples of noncitizens who had been removed from the rolls in Boston and Virginia.
Utah Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson, a Republican who oversees elections, said she supports the bill in concept but needs to be careful about errors.
The House vote comes days after the Republican National Committee released its policy platform, which emphasizes border security issues and opposes Democrats granting “voting rights” to immigrants living in the country illegally.
Republicans are expected to air concerns about immigration and election integrity at next week’s Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
