Last year, the announcement of a Winnie the Pooh horror film made the rounds. Although this can by no means shine with outstanding ratings, the project is still a complete success from a financial point of view. The low-budget film was able to take in around 1.76 million US dollars on a budget of around 50,000 US dollars. In addition to the announcement of a sequel, there now seems to be another project from this cosmos. After all, according to Variety, a TV series based on the horror film is planned.

Christopher Robin as a junkie?

The TV project is to be named ChristopherRobin wear and focus on the well-known character. However, the description provided by Variety for the series should leave many people scratching their heads: “Christopher Robin is a disaffected New Yorker navigating his quarter-life crisis with the help of talking animals that live beyond a drug-opened portal in the Hundred Acre Wood outside of his derelict apartment complex.

This one, quite long sentence should already sketch a first picture of what awaits us in the series. While Charlie Kesslering is named as the writer and executive producer, Conrad Vernon is set to direct the pilot alongside an executive producing role. With Nick Nantell, Shamier Anderson and Stephan James, three other executive producers are on board, who are also supported by Holly Hubsher.

Variety also captured numerous ecstatic voices from the team for the article. So the question is not if, but when we will learn more about the bizarre project around Christopher Robin.

The new Guardians of the Galaxy film is currently the focus of reporting. However, the ratings for the third part of the series are often not necessarily positive.
