Apparently, Andy Delort is pushing hard to leave OGC Nice this winter. Having skipped the recovery session, the club’s management should sanction him. The rag burns between the two parties.

Andy Delort is closer than ever to leaving OGC Nice. He should break camp on the side of the Côte d’Azur this winter. The reason ? It is simply for a financial disagreement. Indeed, the media in question indicates that the player is disappointed with the management of his club which has not kept its promise to grant him a salary increase, as agreed between the two parties.

And yet scorer and passer against Montpellier, the Algerian international striker was dismissed from the match that followed him against Reims. “It was my choice because I think he was not focused on this match and for the good of the group, I needed players who were 100% concerned. It doesn’t change Andy, my relationship with Andy, Andy’s contract with the club. It’s a coach’s decision for his group. Said Nice coach Didier Digard after the match against Reims (0-0).

Will Delort be sanctioned?

In order to express his dissatisfaction with his last dismissal, Andy Delort skipped the recovery session which took place this morning, reports the regional media “Nice Matin”. It is also a way in which he wants to “force” to leave the “Aiglons” this winter.

According to the same source, the Nice management will not tolerate this “unauthorized” absence. Indeed, it will sanction the player. Obviously, the rag is burning between the two parties. The Greens striker is closer than ever to a start.

Remember that Andy Delort is close to joining FC Nantes. There is talk of an agreement with OGC Nice for a sum of 6 million Euros. Only, the Côte d’Azur club does not want to grant an exit voucher to its striker until it has ensured the arrival of his successor.
