Juarez City.- Families from Juarez are gathered on Costa Rica street and Heroico Colegio Militar avenue, where more than 700 runners participated in the 3 and 5 kilometer foot race.

Some families came on their bicycles or with their pets to enjoy the activity, which is in favor of minors and young people who are part of the United Foundation for Autism.

Girls and boys also participate in special races of three modalities: 50 meters for children under 4 and 6 years of age, 75 meters for 7 and 9 year-olds, as well as 100 meters for children 10 and 11 years of age.

The event is supported by the Municipal Institute of Sport and Physical Culture of the Municipality of Juárez (IMDEJ), the Mascarunners group; in addition, professional wrestlers, such as Invictus and Bravío, joined as guests.

“I am very happy because last year there were approximately 300 people, and now they were almost triple, we are very happy because they recognize the Foundation, they want to continue supporting, and above all the cause we have to continue raising awareness about autism,” said Egla Ramírez, director and founder of United for Autism.

As part of the event, a ring was also installed and a raffle for various prizes will be held.
