Deportes Copiapó will be the Cacique’s first rival in the 2023 National Championship. Check here how they are:
This weekend the ANFP announced the fixture of the 2023 National Championship where Colo Colo will seek the two-time championship. Right at the beginning a surprise appeared on the first rival.
Initially, as it has been in recent years, the first game is the Primera champion vs. the Primera B champion, therefore, Colo Colo vs. Magallanes. However, this changed due to the previous match of the Super Cup that has Albos and Albicelestes as protagonists.
Given this, Deportes Copiapó will be the first rival of the Eternal Champion in the 2023 National Championship as a visitor. The game was scheduled for the weekend of January 21.
But, how does the Atacama Lion come? The group that is led by Héctor Almandoz has several reinforcements for the 2023 season. One of them is Felipe Reynero, who always makes a match for the Cacique. Others that have been announced are Iván Rozas, Reiner Castro and Luis Cabrera.
Other footballers who have renewed their bond are Nelson Espinoza, Isaac Díaz, Marco Medel, Luca Pontigo, Juan José Contreras and their captain Wilson Piñones. It is also, together with Colo Colo, the institutions that have not yet returned to practice.
