The story begins when a peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy is threatened by the armies of a tyrannical ruler called Balisarius. The people, desperate for salvation, send a mysterious young woman (Sofia Boutella) to seek out warriors from neighboring planets to aid them in battle.
The main cast bring Sofia Boutella (Atmica, A Mmia), Charlie Hunnam (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Crime Tycoons), Djimon Hounsou (Kings Man: Inception, Blood Diamond), Bae Doona (The Sea of Tranquility), Ray Fisher (Justice League, True Detective) and Jena Malone (Sucker Punch).
Zack Snyder (Army of the Dead, Man of Steel) is the director, and also co-writes the script alongside Shay Hatten (John Wick 3) e Kurt Johnstad (300).
